Green Dispensary Daily Moisturising Cream began its life as the “carrier cream” used in bio-identical hormone (B-HRT) creams, which are prescribed by medical practitioners.
After using a B-HRT cream, several patients asked about the cream base because of its excellent moisturising quality, and the Green Dispensary Compounding Pharmacy began to supply this grape-seed oil cream base on request. It finally gained sufficient popularity to justify making larger quantities, and to be marketed as the Green Dispensary Daily Moisturising Cream. Grape-seed oil has always been used by The Green Dispensary because of the anti-oxidant properties of vitamin E, flavonoids and polyphenols contained in the grape seed oil.
