PEA has neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, pain relieving and anti-convulsant actions. Often in chronic pain or inflammatory conditions the body may not produce sufficient amounts of PEA hence supplementing with a product containing PEA may help.

The usual dose is
Adults: ONE capsule THREE times a DAY with or immediately after food.
A positive response has been seen after a few doses but may take up to 2 months. If no pain reduction is noticed after 2 months of taking PEA then it is advisable to try an alternative treatment.
Some patients reported feeling stomach heaviness. This was possibly caused by the inactive ingredient Sorbitol which is not present in the Green Dispensary Compounding product.
